What tkphotographix website is about

tkPhotographix is a website designed to share my artwork with friends and family.   I'm happy to share my work with others who love art like I do.   It is fun to see the progression of changes and improvements over time in one place.

My new site has all my artwork available while this site only has a sampling.   I keep this older site around since the new site is written with the NextJS framework and won't work on older browsers.

Description: I have been wanting to do a painting of a horse for a long time. I finally took a good base picture of a horse. I was trying to keep the painting simple to really emphasize the beauty of the horse. The frame is handcrafted in cedar and stained to pick up the tones of the horse.

Description: This is a painting I did of a sunrise in Tucson that I captured during my morning walk. This is such a beautiful place! This painting has a handcrafted red oak frame custom stained to highlight the tree.

Dublin Area Art League (DAAL)

I joined DAAL in 2022 to learn more about different techniques as well as have opportunities to share some of my work. I really love this organization. The members have all been so kind and like to share ideas. The organization holds a number of events throughout the year that members can volunteer for or display their work.
