Recipes for Complex Food Sensitivities

When low-FODMAP alone isn't enough. Real recipes that work for multiple sensitivities.

Designed for sensitive stomachs with reactions beyond FODMAP - no tomatoes, no vinegar, gentle spices. Created by someone who couldn't find recipes that actually worked anywhere else.

Why This Site Is Different

Hi, I'm Tracy. After years of unexplained digestive issues and frustrating doctor visits that led nowhere, I was directed to low-FODMAP eating. It helped... but it wasn't the complete answer.

I still reacted to things that were "FODMAP-safe portions" - tomatoes, vinegar, certain spices. I searched everywhere for recipes that addressed multiple sensitivities, but every site assumed FODMAP was the only issue. That's why I created this.

These recipes work when everything else fails. They're designed for people with complex, overlapping sensitivities - not just one dietary restriction. Low-FODMAP friendly? Yes. But also gentle in ways other "gut-friendly" recipes aren't.

This is a growing community resource. Other people with complex sensitivities are contributing recipes that worked for them too. When you create a free account, you can submit your own sensitivity-friendly recipes to share with others facing similar challenges.

If you've tried low-FODMAP recipes that still triggered symptoms, or felt frustrated that "safe" foods still make you uncomfortable, you're in the right place. Read my full story โ†’

My Journey to Understanding My Sensitivities

For years, I struggled with unexplained fatigue, brain fog, joint stiffness, and constant digestive discomfort. I visited countless doctors, had every test imaginable, and everything came back "normal." I was told it was stress, or age, or just something I'd have to live with.

I refused to accept that. I started experimenting with my dietโ€”eliminating foods, trying different approaches, keeping detailed journals. I tried the low-FODMAP diet and it helped... but not completely. I was still having reactions to other foods like fodmap-safe portions of tomatoes, vinegar, and certain spices. That's when I realized my sensitivities were more complex than any single diet could address.

This site is the resource I wish I had during those difficult years. Every recipe here has been tested on my own sensitive stomach with multiple sensitivities. I know how frustrating it is to follow a low-FODMAP recipe perfectly and still feel awful. These recipes work when others don'tโ€”they're designed for people whose digestive issues don't fit into neat categories.

Beyond Digestion

While recipes for sensitive digestion are my primary focus, I also share my experiences with exercise and heart health.
